NZIMID - 9th Annual Conference

The 9th Annual Conference, Rendezvous Hotel, Auckland, 17 March 2012

The annual NZIMID conference has always had a focus on Minimal Intervention. The concept of MI is not a sub-specialty, but a “super-specialty” that encompasses all aspects of dentistry. From that perspective we are excited to have two speakers who have a broad brush approach to MI concepts. There is something here for everyone who believes in the concepts and philosophies of Minimal Intervention.

Dr. George Freedman DDS is Professor at the Universita di Firenze (Italy), past president of the AACD, and the Materials Editor for Dentistry Today. He is the author of Contemporary Esthetic Dentistry (Elsevier) and co-author of 11 other textbooks, multiple dental articles, webinars, CDs, videos, and audiotapes, and is a Team Member of REALITY. As a result, he gets to work with and assess new products, technologies and techniques before we ever get to see them. Some are very good, and as we all know, some are not.  Dr Freedman will be presenting successful new materials, techniques and technologies that have a focus on Minimal Intervention philosophies.
